Crowley can arrange shipment of heavy oversize cargo including machinery, building materials, vehicles, and any other general cargo from our marine/fuel terminal hubs in Alaska to remote coastal and river locations. Other scheduled freight transportation companies serve these marine terminals with voyages originating in Anchorage and the lower 48 states.

Crowley’s combination deck/bulk petroleum lighterage barges, deliver to remote villages, mining and construction sites and coastal and river locations. We can deliver direct to docks or make beach landings on the coast or upriver when ice free. We serve the Yukon, Noatak, Kobuk, Nushagak, Kvichak, and Kuskokwim river systems.
